Trying To DIY On Your Fertility Journey

How long have you been on the fertility journey for? It can be for just a few months or a few years and it doesn’t really matter because when we are ready for that baby, then we are really READY! As I experienced myself, there is a lot of anxiety that comes up and a ton of research to try and find the answers to what is keeping you from having that healthy baby. This can be soooo exhausting and it can also waste so much time. Not only do you feel like you are the only one doing all of the research, calling all of the doctors and making all of the appointments but you are probably the only one making all of the changes in your diet and lifestyle. Now don’t get me wrong, I am sure your partner is very supportive and doing what he can, but sometimes they do not feel it as intensely as we do.

Needless to say, this was me, spending so many hours and so much time and feeling really alone on the journey. So when you finally decide that you can’t do it alone anymore and need to build a team of support, you really want to find YOUR people. These would be trusted doctors, acupuncturists, friends, therapists and Fertility Coaches who really know what they are talking about and who can help to take some of the burden off of your shoulders so you don’t have to feel so alone in this journey. The job of a good Fertility Specialist is to do the research for you and know exactly what the next steps are so that you can be one step closer to your healthy baby.

So please don’t waste anymore of your precious time. Time is money and I spent many years wasting it on supplements that I had no idea if they were the right ones for my body and doing little one off sessions that never amounted to anything. I even remember one time visiting some "Guru” who promised they could get me pregnant by fixing my ‘energy’ and boy was that a very bizarre experience and also a waste of $100! Remember to use your time and money wisely while ttc and find the person who really fits with your beliefs. Trying to do it yourself can be a waste of time and money.

How many times have you seen a fertility program and then your heart drops because you find out the cost? Trying to have a baby can be sooo expensive and convincing your partner that it is worth it can add even more stress to this already stressful situation.

What if you pose the question in a different way? How much is your HEALTH worth to you? Most people would say being healthy is priceless, because we all remember how miserable it is when we feel sick and that we would give almost anything to feel better. In the grand scheme of things, your health and your future baby’s health is worth so much. You are worth so much! But when we look at this realistically, we spend thousands of dollars on big ticket items and somehow we find the money to do it. What happens when your car breaks down and it costs $1500 to fix it, well you have to have that car, so you find a way to make it work. What about that 7 day vacation you had last year, how much did that cost and it was just for a week!

Investing in a fertility program, like my Fix Your Fertility Program is an investment in your health and it is also longer than just 7 days. So yes, being on the fertility journey can be an investment, but your health and your future baby's health is so worth it. Think of the time you are not wasting by hiring someone to really get to the root cause, optimize your health and get you pregnant.
